Wine Review

96 points, a well perfumed, richness, the 1988 reveals red fruits, black cherries, truffles, earthy aromas, christmas spice box, smoke, leather, best after 2010. 1988 Sperss is glory.

Note: Sperss is not 100% Barolo a small percentage of Barbera blended with Nebbiolio and so are classified Lange DOC. Sperss is a progressive and forward – looking Nebbiolo with conventional Barolo quality.
